This course was meaningfully created to ensure you you will have everything needed to begin your journey serving women as a birth doula. 

You will also have the opportunity to join monthly video calls with fellow students and have one-on-ones with the instructor throughout your course to ensure continuous support as you become a doula.

This journey will start with us taking a closer look at the doulas role in the motherhood continuum. Being a doula is so much more than advocating in the birth space. It is a sacred calling that through our training will have you serving women in a holistic perspective of mind, body, and spirit. Becoming a doula drastically changed my life for the better. The way I view being a woman, caring for my own wellbeing, serving others, and sharing with the world how motherhood can be a transformative empowering experience. Let's begin with just how amazing this journey will be.

the prenatal time

We will walk through what it is like to truly hold women during pregnancy through meaningful relationships and counseling. Many trainings show you what it takes to be a doula. We will actually take you on the journey of becoming the doula you will be. With guides on prenatal care, finding and creating resources, incorporating celebration for your mamas, understanding how pregnancy can be a time to grow spiritually and so much more.

your presence in the birth space

The exciting day when you're kneeling beside a laboring mother, giving reminders of her strength, and witnessing a soul enter the world. We know what it takes to be present for women in this space. To help her feel heard and honored during such a transformative journey. We will learn the physiological design for birth AND common interventions, how to provide hands-on support while respecting undisturbed birth, serving families through loss and so much more.

Doula support doesn't end after the baby arrives. Just like birth, women have a physiological design for postpartum. As doulas we have the ability to help women understand what is really needed after birth and how to make honoring that a reality. Covering how to best serve women during this special time through leaving an everlasting impact of support and love as women begin their motherhood journey.

building a successful doula business

In this section of the course we will discuss key topics of building and running a successful doula business. Everything from finding potential clients, facilitating interviews, booking processes, creating your birth brand and marketing the beautiful offerings that will bless countless women.

I have been in birth work for the past six years attending over 160 births. My experiences serving women, building a successful doula business, avoiding burnout, and booking 3-4 clients every month has ultimately led me to my passion of mentoring other aspiring doulas. I believe in the way our presence makes a difference in the journey of motherhood and I believe in this work being a meaningful way to sustain birth workers financially and spiritually.
